The BSC (Hons) Project management Integrated degree apprenticeship programme is designed to meet the needs of today’s business world and needs, providing apprentices with the skills required in which to become professional project managers.  These skills enable new project developments, and propel a drive for organisational change. The standards have been set by industry experts.

It is a 4 year programme, with a flexibility in which to be contextualised to specific requests to meet individual organisational requirements based on candidate experience, qualifications, background and business needs.  Opening this up to a cohort of specific CU members of staff provides the opportunity for this apprenticeship to be aligned to the organisational strategy and “Capability framework”.

Not only will the apprentices/members of staff gain the BSc (Hons) in Project Management, they will take the APM’s Project Management Qualification at the end of the second year, which is an internally recognized qualification equivalent to IPMA’s Level D: Project Management Associate, and a pre-requisite of this apprenticeship’s End Point Assessment.

Who is it for?

CU Group staff who aspire to be in a project management role and who are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a project or a subset of a project withn their current role.  Successful apprentices will be able to deliver projects in line with defined objectives, taking decisions to manage stakeholder expectations by leading a multi-skilled, cross-disciplinary team to deliver the project to time, cost and quality requirements.
